TASR: A hétvégi esőzés sok helyen enyhítette a szárazságot, egyes helyeken csütörtöktől (5. 14.) kezdve 20-40 liter eső esett négyzetméterenként - tájékoztatott a közösségi médiában a Szlovák Hidrometeorológiai Intézet (SHMÚ). Néhol 50 milliméternyi eső volt, egy-egy kivételesen esetben pedig akár 80 mm. A legkevesebb csapadék Zemplénben esett, csupán 5 mm. A legtöbb helyen csendes, áztató eső volt, és csak kivételesen, zivatar kialakulásakor lépte át az egy óra alatt lezúduló mennyiség az 5 millimétert – tette hozzá az SHMÚ.

As well as friendly words about collaboration, China's head of state Xi also issued a stark warning to the visiting US president. The Taiwan issue has top priority in their bilateral relations, Xi insisted. If it was not handled properly, it could result in an "extremely dangerous situation". Trump, meanwhile, has said he has yet to greenlight a US arms package to Taiwan, describing it as a useful bargaining chip against China.
