Die EU müsse konkrete Maßnahmen ergreifen, um die Auswirkungen der Klimakrise auf die öffentliche Gesundheit und die Gesundheitssysteme zu bewältigen, forderten die EU-Gesundheitsminister am Donnerstag (30. November).

Mit neuen EU-Vorschriften soll mehr Transparenz bei der kurzfristigen Vermietung von Unterkünften in der EU geschaffen und nachhaltigerer Tourismus gefördert werden.

Die EU-Mitgliedschaft der Ukraine decke sich derzeit nicht mit den nationalen Interessen Ungarns. Die EU solle zuerst eine „strategische Partnerschaft“ mit der Ukraine vorschlagen, sagte Ministerpräsident Viktor Orbán am Freitag (1. Dezember).

Google eröffnete am Mittwoch (29. November) sein drittes Zentrum für Cybersicherheit in Europa und sicherte zehn Millionen Dollar für ein Fortbildungsprogramm im Bereich Cyberkompetenz zu.

Der schweizerische Vermittler für das in Genf anberaumte Treffen zwischen den spanischen Sozialisten und den katalanischen Unabhängigkeitsbefürwortern ist nun bekannt. Dabei handelt es sich um denselben Vermittler, der auch bei den Verhandlungen mit den baskischen Terroristen geholfen hat.
