Council and European Parliament reach agreement to simplify rules on security and defence procurement, accelerate permit-granting procedures and strengthen defence readiness.

A Tanács elnökségének és az Európai Parlamentnek a tárgyalói ideiglenes megállapodásra jutottak az úgynevezett „negyedik omnibusz” jogalkotási csomag részét képező több új jogszabályról. Az ideiglenes megállapodás a kis méretű, közepes piaci tőkeértékű vállalatokra, valamint a digitalizációra és az egységes előírásokra vonatkozó jogszabályokra terjed ki.

A Tanács elfogadta az egyiptomi fegyveres erők megsegítését célzó, az Európai Békekeret keretében megvalósuló 2. támogatási intézkedést. Ezzel 40 millió EUR-ra nőtt az egyiptomi fegyveres erőknek ez idáig nyújtott támogatás összege.
