The Council approved conclusions on the new strategic EU-India agenda, stressing that enhanced political, trade, economic, research and innovation, and security cooperation between the EU and India will boost the delivery of prosperity and stability for both peoples.

Today, the Council reached a general approach on the REPowerEU regulation to gradually phase out Russian gas imports, with the aim of ending any dependency on Russian gas and strengthening the EU's energy security.
