A Tanács és az Európai Parlament a mai napon ideiglenes politikai megállapodásra jutott a transzeurópai energiahálózatról (TEN-E) szóló rendelet felülvizsgálatáról, amelynek célja korszerűsíteni, dekarbonizálni és összekapcsolni az EU határokon átnyúló energetikai infrastruktúráját, és ezzel hozzásegíteni az Uniót a 2050-re teljesítendő klímasemlegességi célkitűzései megvalósításához.

European Council President Charles Michel hosted a meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan. They discussed the evolving situation in the South Caucasus region and ways forward regarding EU relations with both countries.

The Council adopted conclusions on enlargement and stabilisation and association process.

A Tanács következtetéseket fogad el a polgári KBVP területére vonatkozó paktumról, amelyekben újólag biztosít arról, hogy elkötelezett a közös biztonság- és védelempolitika polgári ágának megerősítése iránt.

The President of the Eurogroup, Paschal Donohoe, has sent a letter to the President of the Euro Summit, Charles Michel. The letter takes stock of the progress achieved in the Eurogroup on key policy issues relevant for the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
