Az EU a homofóbia, a transzfóbia és a bifóbia elleni 2022. évi világnapon nyilatkozatot adott ki, amelyben újólag megerősíti szilárd elkötelezettségét amellett, hogy a leszbikus, meleg, biszexuális, transznemű és interszexuális (LMBTI) személyek tekintetében tiszteletben tartsa, védje és biztosítsa az emberi jogok és alapvető szabadságok maradéktalan és egyenlő érvényesítését.

A Tanács a mai napon elfogadta a transzeurópai energiahálózatokról (TEN-E) szóló módosított rendeletet. Az új szabályok célja korszerűsíteni, dekarbonizálni és összekapcsolni a tagállamok határokon átnyúló energetikai infrastruktúráit, és ezzel hozzájárulni ahhoz, hogy az Unió 2050-re klímasemlegessé válhasson. A módosított rendelet célja továbbá, hogy a korábbiakhoz hasonlóan biztosítsa a piaci integrációt, a versenyképességet és az ellátásbiztonságot.
