The conservative incumbent president secured 63.2 percent of the vote compared to the 36.8 percent won by Social Democrat Viorica Dăncilă. More than 900,000 Romanians living outside the country voted, setting a new record. But Romania's media doubt that Iohannis will be able to justify the great measure of trust placed in him.

And Linnéa Claeson, who keeps a public record of verbal attacks by men, reportedly made them up in many cases. Sweden's press takes a dim view of these tactics.
