Member states’ EU ambassadors have agreed on the Council’s partial negotiating mandate on the proposed Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform designed to support investments in critical technologies in the EU.

The Council approved a partial negotiating mandate on a proposal to set up the Ukraine Facility, a new dedicated financing instrument to support Ukraine's recovery, reconstruction and modernisation, while supporting its efforts to carry out reforms as part of its accession path to the EU.

The EU issued a statement taking note of the outcome of the Parliamentary elections in Bangladesh and regretting that not all major parties participated in it.
