A Tanács a mai napon jóváhagyta az EU 2024. évi általános költségvetéséről szóló közös szövegtervezetet. A közös szövegtervezetről az Európai Parlamenttel november 11-én folytatott tárgyalások során megállapodás született. A kötelezettségvállalások teljes összegét 189 385,4 millió EUR-ban, a kifizetések teljes összegét pedig 142 630,3 millió EUR-ban határozták meg.
