Az uniós tagállamok állandó képviselői megállapodtak a Stratégiai Technológiák Európai Platformjáról szóló javaslatra vonatkozó részleges tanácsi tárgyalási megbízásról, amely platform célja a kritikus technológiákba történő beruházások támogatása az EU-ban.

A Tanács részleges tárgyalási megbízást hagyott jóvá az Ukrajna-eszköz létrehozására irányuló javaslatra vonatkozóan. Az Ukrajna-eszköz olyan új, célzott finanszírozási eszköz, amelynek célja támogatni Ukrajna helyreállítását, újjáépítését és modernizációját, valamint az ország EU-hoz való csatlakozásához vezető útjának részét képező reformok végrehajtására irányuló erőfeszítéseit.
