The Council today adopted a decision extending the EU advisory mission in support of security sector reform in Iraq (EUAM Iraq) until 30 April 2024.

The Council today adopted a decision amending the mandate of the EU advisory mission for civilian security sector reform in Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine).

In view of the humanitarian crisis resulting from the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the Council decided to introduce exceptions to restrictive measures for exclusively humanitarian purposes in Ukraine.

Az EU jelenleg az Európai Békekeret támogatási intézkedései révén tudja támogatni az ukrán fegyveres erőket. A Tanács két határozat elfogadásával 1,5 milliárd euróra növelte ezen intézkedések referenciaösszegét.

Hamarosan minden, az orosz háború elől elmenekült ukrajnai személynek lehetősége lesz valamennyi uniós országban átváltani az ukrán hrivnya bankjegyeket a helyi pénznemre.

Az uniós állandó képviselők a mai napon zöld utat adtak az európai zöldkötvények létrehozásáról szóló javaslattal kapcsolatban kialakított tanácsi álláspontnak.

Az Európa jövőjéről szóló konferencia április 8–9-i plenáris ülésének résztvevői konkrét javaslatokat vitattak meg.
